Achieve Breakthrough is an organisational and leadership development company that uses ‘Breakthrough Thinking’ to bring about lasting change at some of the world’s biggest and best-loved brands. But with so many big (and complex) ideas, how could they bring clarity to their proposition?
Tone of voice development
Working alongside strategic marketing consultant Dan Elvery from The Marketing Pulley, Mytton Williams and MoreSoda, we first distilled down the key messages, understanding their audience and their priorities. We then used this knowledge to develop short, easy-to-use tone of voice guidelines that introduced a clear, challenging yet playful style.
With many years of content to draw from, the website writing required a combination of consolidation and heavy editing. Everything we wrote had to strike a fine balance: enough info to demonstrate expertise, but not so much to put people off. We carefully cut and polished the content, creating a ‘snackable’, yet satisfying read. And, across everything we wrote, we brought the same engaging, expert and accessible voice.
